Feedback

How is TodoBar working for you?

TodoBar is built by one person, and direct feedback from people who actually use it is the best signal there is for what to do next. There are two good ways to share what you think.

Send a note directly

The most useful path is a quick email. I read every message and reply to every one I can. Tell me what is working, what is not, and what you wish was different.

Email support@todobar.app

A short note is enough. “I love how the hotkey works” or “the soft-limit banner is too big on my display” or “could you add X feature” all help.

Leave a public review

If you like TodoBar and want others to know about it, the most useful place to write about it depends on where you got it.

From the Mac App Store

Your review on the App Store helps other people discover TodoBar.

Write a review on the App Store

From a direct download

There is no central review site for direct-distribution apps, but if you write about TodoBar on your own blog, on Mastodon, on X, or anywhere else public, that is hugely appreciated. If you tell me where, I will link to it.

Found a bug?

Same path as feedback: support@todobar.app with a screenshot if you can grab one. Mention your macOS version and TodoBar version (Settings → About). I usually fix bugs within a few days.

Suggesting a feature?

Same email. I read every suggestion. The honest disclaimer is that TodoBar is small on purpose, and I say no to most feature requests because keeping the app focused is the actual product. But knowing what you want is still valuable, and sometimes a request changes my mind.
